TREIBBALL SEMINAR “LET’S HERD BALLS”

SATURDAY OR SUNDAY - March 17 or March 18, 2012

PRESENTED BY - PAT MILLER, CPDT, CDBC

Treibball is a competitive dog sport that is based on sheep herding. The “sheep” are balls that the dog is taught to push/herd into a pen. The handler will direct the dog off leash using 8 balls (sheep), with obedience and herding signals. All balls must be in the pen in 15 minutes and then the dog lies down at the entrance to the pen to keep the balls/sheep in.  Click here to learn more about this exciting seminar!

Unique Training for Cute Boxer Puppies

John and Maria Harrington called with a request to aid them in the basic obedience of their new boxer puppies.  That in itself was not too surprising, but the puppies were.  Kayla and Seamus turned out to be two beautiful white boxer puppies.

Don Brown

In the Beginning

Don Brown is the owner of The Academy of Dog Training and Agility. Don started out in confirmation, owner handling his English Pointers to their championships.
Don has trained in obedience with Susan Strickland, Carolyn Price, West Chester Obedience Club and with Pam Helmer of the Talbot Kennel Club. He trains in agility with Linda Snyer of the Talbot Kennel Club. At the present time he is running "Ross", standard poodle, in agility.
It was while training at Talbot Kennel Club that Don became familiar with the clicker training positive method. We emphasize the word "positive". It makes training fun for you and your dog.
