On March 12 and 13 eight students and their instructor ran at the
Tailblazers Agility Trial and came away with 14 qualifying ribbons and
as many placements.
Lauren and "April" had a slow start on Saturday but made up for it on
Sunday by completing both Novice Standard and Novice Jumpers courses in
qualifying times.
Jessica and "Chase" did a good job and came out with placements in their
classes.
Olivia and "Rosie" blew us all away with their placements both Saturday
and Sunday.
Marinda and "Howser" qualified both days with placements.
Jilesa and "Spencer" did what nobody thought they would do, they
qualified both days with 4 placements. "Spencer" wasn't supposed to be
ready for competition but he and Jilesa fooled us.
And last but not to be forgotten there is Diane and "Molly" who weren't
very lucky in three of their runs but on the last run of Sunday came up
with a First Place in Novice A Standard, 24 inch and the only 24 inch
Novice A to qualify.
Amanda and "Eve" improved with each of their runs and will be awesome
the next trial they enter. "Eve" had a tendency to wander around the
course and Amanda worked hard to keep her under control with each run.
All of Amanda's classmates congratulated her on how well she performed.
Natalie and "Misty" only entered on Saturday and were robbed of a leg by
a mismark by the Scribe taking down the Judge's hand signals. These two
will be awesome also the next time they enter a trial.
Don and "Ross" achieved the last leg for an Excellent A Standard title. |
